The solution for this issue would be a pre-positioning procedure which targets to provide a support for decision-making on the feasibility of a given system architecture at an early design stage, before proceeding to the detailed design. Two types of boundary conditions are considered in this study, simply supportedвЂ“simply supported (S-S) and clampedвЂ“clamped (C-C). This model can help system architects to study the influence of the boundary conditions on the system response. This methodology shows that using Modelica, we can implement different boundary conditions, making the element suitable for any multibody simulation. In fact, a lot of mechatronic systems may have their natural frequencies and mode shapes dependent on their spatial configuration, which affect the dynamic response of the system. We study the vibration interaction between perturbations sources (motors) and receivers (electronic cards) through a flexible beam with arbitrary boundary conditions. This paper proposes a new pre-designing method applied to a flexible multibody system to characterize its vibrational behavior analytically with Dymola/Modelica language. For validation purpose, results are compared with those reported in the literature.Дuring conceptual design phase, system architects pre-validate architectures following different constrains. In engineering, beam-masses are often used as design models. We investigate the dynamic behavior of a system of interconnected components using the modeling language Modelica.

In this paper, a new analytical approach to object oriented modeling is presented for the predesign of a multibody system. We also show how modeling errors are identified using this approach.

By considering an application to a piezoelectric energy harvesting system, we show how we associate agents, rules and inter-level relationships to multi-abstraction modeling. Each agent is representing an abstraction level and both agent and relationships are managed with rules. The major contribution deals with proposing a new method for the decomposition of the multi-level design into agents linked with relationships.

In this paper, we propose a multi-agent methodology for the multi-abstraction modeling issue of mechatronic systems. Therefore, new methodologies are required to manage the multi-view complexity of mechatronic design. However, the level of integration does not yet meet the purposes of mechatronic system designers, particularly when dealing with modeling changes.
